Need for Speed - wow! I just picked up Need for Speed Hot Pursuit on sale for the Switch. I was browsing the sale and saw I had 33 minutes left before the sale ended. I quickly decided to blind-buy it and Iām so glad I did! This game not only looks and runs incredibly on the switch, but itās also incredibly fun.
Lamborghini Gallardo is pretty decent at racing, and also so is the Porsche 911. The Porsche Carrera GT is probably the best overall car for racing, it's just very well-balanced. It has got mad acceleration, good handling and one of the highest Top Speeds in the game.
Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit on the PC has all of the same camera angles that the PS1 version does, and leave skid marks and looks similar to the PS1 game in that respect. But I think when you pull the camera back in the PC game, it does lower the LOD and give the cars that weird floaty look.

In my opinion a good Need For Speed game is : From the old school era: NFS 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 From the PS2 era: Hot Pursuit 2, Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted Then after that, many NFS fans agree that EA had lost their way, and mostly none of the new NFS games are in the same style as those old ones, and not really good to play.

At least with NFS: Hot Pursuit, it kept itself true to the originals of the Hot Pursuit branch, but with a good selection of cars and pursuit tech. Some of the tracks even gave me an NFS III vibe in some places. Weird considering it was Criterion's first shot at an NFS game, with MW2012 as their second game (which fell flat on its face imo.)
